Downstairs

The Anchor has everything you need to enjoy a comfortable relaxing break. The kitchen is fully equipped with a range style LPG gas cooker, plus separate electric oven, large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, and all necessary crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment (even a scales and cook book!). The dining room accommodates up to 20 people in an atmospheric barrel-vaulted room. It also has a bar! The Utility Room is equipped with Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer and second sink.

There are two wood burners for cosy nights in, one in the main Sitting Room amongst pub memorabilia which also has the satellite TV, (full sky sports and film package), DVD player and music system.  The second is in the snug at the other end of the house where there is a separate TV and DVD player.  The Dining Room is in the oldest part of the house with vaulted ceiling, decorative lights and its own old bar and barrel holders recovered from the former pub days and retained for character and convenience.  The table can comfortably seat 20 and the whole experience will make you think you’ve stepped back in time

Waitrose in Monmouth and Tesco in Hereford will deliver groceries to the door. Why not pre-order on-line for your day of arrival or even better, contact the Village supermarket and have them prepare your order for your arrival?
