The Anchor

Sleeping up to 22 in 8 bedrooms, The Anchor, which served the village as a pub for over 300 years, might have been designed for large group self catering holidays. The setting is beautiful and the location  magical. If you want to stay home, you couldn’t have a better spot: play games, relax in the hot tub, sit in the garden soaking up the sun, barbecue on the terrace, stroll down to the river bank, and call in at the Forge Hammer for a quick drink and chat with the locals .

"Seriously beautiful stay at the Anchor Inn. Stunning scenery and the walks are a perfect getaway! Highly recommend walking along the Wye! The Inn is enormous, still haven't used half of the rooms and enjoyed the spacious jacuzzi! Overall, loved the weekend and will recommend to any large group."

"Fabulous family weekend to celebrate joint 60th birthdays. The house was fab, we have enjoyed the hot tub and games room, it was all really comfortable and well equipped. We had a lovely walk at Symons Yat and a great Sunday lunch at The Colliers Arms. Thank you."
